Life: Friday Ramblings

Friday Ramblings

This week has been super stressful because...
...reviews are due at work!  Of course I waited until the last minute and am now trying to get all 18 done in a week on top of my regular job.  So basically it's my own fault but I'm going to complain about it anyways!

Let me introduce you to...
...this little baby lemon!!  It's officially the BIGGEST lemon that I've ever grown and I'm way too proud of it.

Speaking of lemons...
...my husband nicely requested that I stop telling our guests "do you want to see my lemon?" the second they walk in the door.  He claims that they don't care.  But, we all know he's wrong!

I'm nose deep in...
...my newest read!  It's called The Secret Letter and it's absolutely amazing.  Some books take a few chapters to suck you in, but this one did from the start.  I find myself lingering in the car or staying away longer at night just to find out what happens next.

I'm mourning the loss of...
...Castiel in Supernatural!  I really thought that he'd make it to the grand finale, but his saga ended just shy of it.  I started the episode laying down and relaxed.  I ended the episode sitting up, clenching my daughter, and ugly crying.  The rest of the night I spent looking up Castiel memes and watching videos of my favorite episodes with him.  Next Friday is the series finale and our grand Supernatural celebration.  We're crossing our fingers that he somehow comes back to life!

What are your Friday Ramblings?

  1. Reviews as in reviewing the workers? Such fun in the sun LOL Be sure to supertrash that spoilt brat that you constantly complain about.
Our lemons are still outside in the cold, they like it as long as it is not below zero.

    1. I may or may not have made her cry! Ok, so I did, but it was unintentional. :) I told her that she's her own worst enemy. She will never move along because who want these outbursts on their team?? She didn't like too much!

Does your lemon tree shed it's leaves at the change of every season? Ours is shedding leaves again and I'm panicking that I'll lose my lemon!

    2. They shed constantly like cats LOL And it will take many months for that green lemon to become yellow.

  2. Bahaha....”Do you want to see my lemon?” Why yes! I would love to! I’ve been known to show people my orchid when it finally blooms! I read The Secret Letter, but I’m seriously over WW2 books!

    1. LMAO, see, it's a great question to ask. Please tell me that it continues to be a good book b/c I just can't put the thing down! I try to take breaks in between so that I don't get over them. I read the story about the Cold War and then the crime thriller, so I don't get sick of them. :)

  3. lol I'm kinda with Carlos. Seen one lemon you've seen em all. I doubt Castiel will be back for the last episode, but when they come back in 5 years or so I'm sure he will be.

    1. But have you ever seen a baby lemon still on the tree? It's a miracle of life! I reallllyyyy hope you're right about Supernatural coming back. My Thursday nights are going to be empty for the first time in 15 years.

  4. I would totally want to meet your lemon!

Ugh to reviews. I hated doing them way back when I had an outside managerial job.

I'm like 3 seasons behind on Supernatural. I suppose I should catch up, but probably won't until after the holidays. Too bad Castiel didn't make it :(

    1. I appreciate you saying that! At least someone would humor me. :) Reviews are the worst!! I'm still doing them. The good reviews are almost worst than the bad reviews b/c they linger for the full hour. They want to talk about how fabulous they are. Which I get, but with so many to do, let's move it along. lol

Eep! You still have time to catch up before the series finale. :)
